2. Get help: Like inviting a friend over to help bake those cookies. Asking for help and delegating tasks will allow you time to take a breath and enjoy the moment. Plan a day with your family or friends where everyone will help decorate the house or apartment and write out holidays cards. You'll have fun and cross another task off your list.
3. Don't take on too much: You may want to say yes to every person who's invited you to a holiday potluck but the reality of having to make 14 dishes in a 2 week time period will quickly become overwhelming. Pick a day and invite anyone you turned down over for some eggnog, cheese log and other ready to eat dishes.
4. Make time for yoga: We all know yoga reduces stress so now is not the time to skip out on a session because you've got a lot planned. Make time at least twice a week. Your body and mind will thank you.
5. Enjoy the Moment: As you circle a mall parking lot hoping to find that magical empty space while 30 other cars attempt to cut you off, don't stress. Take a minute to appreciate everything you have and put that moment into perspective. You're lucky enough to have a car, money to buy gifts, friends and family to buy gifts for. It's been proven that taking the time to be thankful for what you have (try saying it out loud) will improve your mood.
From everyone here at InTouch Clothing, we hope you have a happy, healthy and stress free Holiday and a prosperous New Year!
